Ingredients:

1         C.            Butter or Margarine
2         C.            Sugar
6                       Eggs
2         C.            pre-sifted flour
1/2       tsp.          salt
1         tsp.          lemon or orange extract or if desired vanilla     
For Topping: 
1/2       C.            Orange or Lemon Juice
1/2       C.            Sugar

Preparation:

Cream Butter or Margarine, add 2 cups sugar, cream together good, add eggs, 2 at a time, cream this all together good, add flour, salt and flavoring. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes in tube pan which has ben greased or sprayed with Pam. TOPPING: Mix orange or lemon juice and sugar. Heat until sugar melts and top cake while warm.
