4 pork steaks
salt and pepper
1 14 1/2 ounce hominy -- drained
1 small onino -- chopped
1 4 ounces can diced green chili peppers -- drained
1 teaspoon chili powder
Preparation:
Trim fat off pork steaks; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine hominy with onion, chili peppers, and chili powder in bottom of slow-cooking pot. Arrange pork steaks over hominy. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
