Lowfat Crockpot Spaghetti

Ingredients:

  1 1/2         Pounds  extra lean ground beef
  1                Cup  bell pepper chopped
  1           Teaspoon  oregano
     1/2           Can  mushrooms
                        fat free parmessan cheese if desired
  1                Cup  onion diced
  1          Large Can  tomato sauce
  1            Package  spaghetti seasoning mix
  1            Package  spaghetti cooked -- (12 ounce)
 

Preparation:

Preparation: Heat crockpot. Brown meat, bell pepper and onion in nonstick skittet. Drain and place in crockpot. Add mushrooms, tomato sauce, spaghetti seasoning and oregano. Cook 810 hours on high. Cook spaghetti according to package direction. Serve sauce over cooked spaghetti. Top with parmesan cheese as desired. One must use their own judgment on the leangth of time and the temp. setting. I find that alot of the recipes that call for long hours on high could be used on low after they had been cooking for a bit. Play with the recipes and add a few of your own seasonings that you may want to add....Betty
