1 28 oz can whole tomatoes, -- undrained

1 teaspoon pickling spice (include bay leaf)
salt and pepper -- to taste |
Preparation:
Place meat in a crockpot. Add potatoes, onion, tomatoes, wine and spices. Add enough water to barely cover. Cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or until tender. |
