Preparation:
In a large skillet brown ground beef, onion, and garlic. Cook until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
In any size Crock-Pot, combine ketchup, green sweet pepper, water, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, Worchestershire sauce, and chili powder. Stir in meat mixture. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours or HIGH 3 to 4 hours. Spoon into hamburger buns.
Variation: Substitute ground turkey, chicken, or pork in place of the ground beef. |
