Prune Bread

Ingredients:

   1      cup           milk
   2      tablespoons   canola oil
   2      tablespoons   lemon juice
   1      cup           whole dry prunes -- pitted
   1      cup           all-purpose flour -- unbleached
   1      cup           semolina flour
     1/2  cup           uncooked oatmeal -- not instant
     1/2  teaspoon      clove -- ground
   1      teaspoon      salt
   2      teaspoons     vital wheat gluten
   1 1/2  teaspoons     active dry yeast
          large         loaf:
   1 1/2  cups          milk
     1/4  cup           canola oil
     1/4  cup           lemon juice
   2      cups          whole dry prunes -- pitted
   1 3/4  cups          all-purpose flour -- unbleached
   1 1/2  cups          semolina flour
   1      cup           uncooked oatmeal -- not instant
   1      teaspoon      clove -- ground
   1 1/2  teaspoons     salt
   1      tablespoon    vital wheat gluten
   2      teaspoons     active dry yeast
 

Preparation:

Pour all wet ingredients into bread machine baking pan. Measure all other ingredients except yeast into baking pan. Sprinkle yeast over dry ingredients, being carefull not to get yeast wet. Use rapid bake cycle on your machine for this loaf.
