1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
3/8 cup buttermilk
or 2 tbs. dry buttermilk powder and
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup water
1 egg
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon molasses
1/3 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons Red Star brand active dry yeast for
all machines except 1 1/2 pound
Panasonic/National machines
(use 4 tsp. yeast)
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in bread pan, select Light Crust setting, adn press
Start.
After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake rack jand
allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.
