Ingredients:

  2               Cups  All-Purpose Flour
     3/4           Cup  Sugar
  3          Teaspoons  Baking Powder
     1/2      Teaspoon  Baking Soda
  1           Teaspoon  Salt
     1/2      Teaspoon  Cinnamon
     1/4      Teaspoon  Allspice
     1/8      Teaspoon  Cloves
     1/8      Teaspoon  Nutmeg
  1                     Egg
  2        Tablespoons  Butter Or Margarine -- Melted
  1                Cup  Applsauce
 

Preparation:

Place flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, egg, and butter in bowl. Attach bowl and flat beater. Turn to speed 4 and beat 15 seconds. Stop and scrape bowl. Add applesauce. Turn to speed 4 and beat for 30 seconds. Stop and scrape bowl. Turn to speed 4 and beat 15 seconds more until well blended. Spread mixture into a greased 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 1/2-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 F for 45 to 55 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
