Preparation:
Sift the dry ingredients with your fingers. Mix the buttermilk, egg and oil together and stir into the flour mixture. Mix well and knead it a little. Cut a cross in the top. Put the dough on a baking tray and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to 375 degrees and bake for 30 minutes (it should sound hollow at the base). Place on a wire rack and wrap with a tea towel to keep soft. |
