Ingredients:

2 2/3     cups          pretzel, crushed
1 1/2     sticks        margarine
8         ounces        cream cheese
1         cup           sugar
1         carton        Cool Whip®
1         cup           water
2         packages      Strawberry jello
2         packages      strawberries, sliced
1         large can     crushed pineapple, drained

Preparation:

Melt margarine and mix with pretzels Press into a 9X13 pan and bake for 10 minutes @ 350~~ Cream together cream cheese and sugar, fold in cool whip Spread on cooled pretzel crust Bring pineapple juice and water to a boil add jello - dissolve Add frozen strawberries slices and drained crushed pineapple Pour over cream cheese mixture and chill I have made several pretzel salads and each one tasted a little different - BUT! - this one is the VERY BEST I HAVE EVER TASTED!! It came from PB in Security from one of our 3rd Shift pot luck dinners many years ago. 08/02/01 scf
