Preparation:
Put Bacon Grease in a heavy iron skillet...once the grease gets hot add the potatoes and fry til about half are crisp and the other half soft, do not turn the potatoes but maybe twice or they will come out mushy..add salt and pepper..just before you are ready to take the potatoes off of the stove, add the onions and cook til slightly transparent, try not to overcook...remove from stove and serve...TOPPING WITH CREAM STYLE CORN TASTE EVEN BETTER. |
