Ingredients:

2 lb. lean ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
2 t. minced garlic
1 green bell pepper, chopped fine
1 red bell pepper, chopped fine
16 oz. tomato sauce
1 T. paprika
2 cups long grain rice, uncooked
1 1/2 cups water
salt and pepper to taste |
Preparation:
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Add onions, garlic and peppers. Cook over medium heat until meat is cooked through. Drain well.
Add tomato sauce, paprika and water, simmer 1/2 hour over medium heat. Add long grain rice, salt and pepper and cook 25 minutes on low- medium heat covered pot. |
