Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 onion -- large, minced
1/2 green bell pepper -- diced
1 quart okra -- fresh,
-- sliced/rinsed
4 tomatoes -- fresh, coarsely
chopped
salt to taste
black pepper to taste |
Preparation:
1. Melt butter in large skillet; add onion and sauté over medium heat until soft.
2. Add bell pepper, okra and tomatoes; season to taste.
3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
NOTE: If desired, add fresh corn kernels.
