2 garlic cloves -- , minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 can plum tomatoes in puree -- (28-oz.)
3/4 pound cleaned medium shrimp

1 pound penne or other pasta
Preparation:
Cook garlic cloves, salt and red pepper in olive oil over medium heat, 30 seconds.
Add tomatoes in puree, heat to boiling. Cook 5 minutes.
Stir in shrimp, cook 2 minutes or until shrimp turn opaque throughout.
