Preparation:
combine conch, potatoes, and water in a saucepot, over a moderate flame bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes meanwhile, heat bacon in a skillet, over a medium flame heat and stir for 4 minutes add onions and bell peppers heat and stir for 5 minutes add bacon mixture to the conch mixture-mix well bring to a boil, over a moderate flame reduce heat and simmer for 45-60 minutes, until conch is tender and chowder has thickened serve hot |
