Salmon Steak Bake

Ingredients:

   2      packages      frozen salmon steaks -- (12oz)
     1/8  teaspoon      ground pepper
     1/2  cup           dry red wine
   2      tablespoons   lemon juice
     1/2  teaspoon      cornstarch
   1      teaspoon      salt
   1      tablespoon    butter or margarine -- melted
     1/4  cup           finely chopped onion
   1      tablespoon    water -- cold
     1/2  cup           seedless green grapes
 

Preparation:

Heat oven to 475F Place frozen salmon steaks in buttered baking dish, 12 x 8 x 2 inches. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; brush with melted butter. Bake uncovered 15 minutes. While steaks are baking, heat wine, onion and lemon juice to boiling in 1 1/2-quart saucepan; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Stir water into cornstarch; stir into wine sauce. Heat to boiling. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in grapes. Spoon sauce over salmon. Bake uncovered 5 minutes.
