Ingredients:

   1                    loaf French bread
   1      can           mushrooms -- sliced
   1      pound         ground beef
   1                    onion -- diced
  15      ounces        tomato sauce
   1      package       mozzarella cheese slices

Preparation:

Remove center of bread to make a boat shape. Brown ground beef; add sauce, mushrooms and onion. Simmer 2-3 minutes. Pour into bread and top with slices of cheese. Heat on baking sheet at 350F for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese melts. Slice to serve. Serves 5-6.
