     1/2  cup           sugar
   1      12 oz can     pineapple-apricot nectar*
   2      tablespoons   cornstarch
 

Preparation:

* Kerns Brand Every Chinese cook has his own version of this. This one is intended for quick cooking in an American kitchen. In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, sugar, and nectar and bring to a boil. Continue cooking until sauce thickens. Makes 2 Cups
