Preparation:
Makes 20 brownies
1. Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
2. Melt chocolate with butter in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly; cool slightly.
3. Beat eggs until thick and light in color; gradually beat in sugar.
4. Blend in chocolate mixture.
5. Add flour; mix well.
6. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
7. Spread in greased 8- or 9-inch square pan; bake in preheated 350 F. oven 20 to 25 minutes for moist chewy brownies, or 25 to 30 minutes for cake-like brownies.
8. Cool in pan; cut in squares or rectangles. |
