Grilled Steak With Blue Cheese

Ingredients:

     1/3  cup           white wine vinegar
     1/3  cup           water
   2      tablespoons   soy sauce -- or tamari
   1      large         onion -- sliced
   2      cloves        garlic -- crushed
     1/4  teaspoon      pepper -- or to taste
   1 1/2  pounds        porterhouse steak
     1/4  cup           blue cheese -- crumbled, or
                        to taste
 

Preparation:

1. Combine vinegar, water, soy sauce, onion, garlic and pepper.

2. Score steak lightly on both sides and marinate, covered in refrigerator, several hours or overnight.

3. Grill steak on one side for 5 - 7 minutes. Turn and top carefully with crumbled blue cheese.

4. Cover and grill another 5 - 7 minutes or until desired doneness.
