Rock's Raspberry Rib Glaze

Ingredients:

   1 1/2  cups          red or black raspberry preserves or jam -- seedless
                        ** DO NOT USE JELLY **
   2      tablespoons   red raspberry vinegar
   2      tablespoons   lemon juice
   1      teaspoon      lemon zest
   1      teaspoon      Worcestershire sauce
   1      teaspoon      Dijon mustard
     1/4  teaspoon      ground mace
 

Preparation:

Scoop the raspberry preserves into a small stainless steel or flame proof ceramic saucepan and blend in the vinegar, lemon juice and zest, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and mace. Heat to boiling, the simmer gently for 5 minutes. Serve hot or cold. Makes about 2 cups.
