Ingredients:

  1 1/4   Cup           Sliced almonds 
  1 1/4   Cup           Granulated sugar 
    1/4   Cup           bread flour 
    3/4   Cup           Melted butter 
    1/2   Cup           Corn syrup
 

Preparation:

1. Crush almonds in mixer. Add sugar and flour. Add butter and corn syrup. Cool.

2. Spread a small amount of mixture on parchment lined sheet pan. The krokant will spread out while baking. Remove from oven when it is a medium brown color. Cut in strips, squares or circles for garnishes.
