Preparation:
Mix ingredients, then bring appx 2 cups cider vinegar and 1 cup water to boil, add about 3 - 4 tbsp of the rub to the vinegar/water, and boil for about ten minutes. You may have to experiment with the rub to get it to your taste, but I this tastes most like what folks want when they think about Carolina based marinades. Store the rub and the marinade in the fridge. The rub will keep for months, I make the sauce as I need it. |
