Preparation:
arrange firewood (or coals and rocks) to form "nest" to rest whole breadfruit in. After qbout 10 minutes, turn so entire fruit is exposed to flame (or fire). Remove from fire, let cool a bit. then scrape black burn from outer edges (we use a machete), cut into 4 wedges. Can be served as is for quick substance or with prepared ackee, calalu, etc. |
