Ingredients:
1 pkg al fresco Buffalo Style chicken sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces
1lb penne pasta
2 tsp canola oil
1-2 tsp hot sauce
1 cup celery, diced
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
1 cup low fat mayonnaise
1/2 cup low fat blue cheese dressing
3/4 skim milk
2 tbsp blue cheese, crumbled |
Preparation:
Grill or pan fry sausages until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees and is golden brown on the outside. Set aside. Saute onion and celery in oil (and hot sauce, if desired) in a skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add chicken sausage.
Combine mayonnaise, dressing and mlk in a small bowl. Stir constantly and cook on medium low heat until thoroughly heated.
When pasta is done, drain and return to the pot. Add contents from skillet and small bowl to pot and mix till pasta is well coated. |
