TX and CA White Girl Chili with beans and a Kick

This is the best of CA and TX Chili. Trial, tribulation, error and love all come together in sweet perfection.
 

Ingredients:

2 lbs ground sirloin
1 bag Carroll Shelby's Chili Kit
1 medium onion, cut in 1/4 or 1/8" chunks
1/2 green bell pepper, cut in 1/4" chunks or smaller
1/2 red bell pepper, cut in 1/4" chunks or smaller
1/2 serrano pepper, cut fine
1-2 carrots, cut fine
1/2 can of beer
1 16 oz can Bush's pinto beans (or S&W)
1 16 oz can Bush's chili beans (or S&W) mild sauce
1 16 oz Kidney beans
1 14 oz can diced tomatoes, no extras
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 3/4 cup water
 

Preparation:

brown beef with bell peppers, garlic, carrots, serrano, onion. Drain fat, I use a collendar. Put beef mix in stock pot. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, beer, water, 1/2 to 2/3 pack chili with carroll shelby kit, 1/2 salt pack carroll shelby kit, 1 pinch to 2 pinches cayenne pepper in carroll shelby kit, add beans, water, cook to boil, then reduce heat, cover, stir every 5 minutes for 2 hours. Enjoy!
