Preparation:
Boil the rice for five minutes. strain and let drain. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Thinly slice the onions. In a large pot saute the onions in the butter over low heat till a golden color. but not browned. About 30 minutes.
Add the rice, cream,parsley and cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. turn into a buttered caserole dish. sprinkle the top with the paprika. Bake in a 325 degree oven for one hour till golden on top. Serve |
