Upside-Down Pizza Bake

Ingredients:

  1              pound  ground beef
     1/2           cup  chopped onion
     1/4           cup  chopped green bell pepper
  1                     garlic clove -- minced
  1                jar  -- (14-ounce) pizza
                        -- sauce
  1           teaspoon  dried italian seasoning
  2        tablespoons  biscuit mix
  1                cup  shredded mozzarella cheese -- (4-ounces)
  1              large  egg
  1                cup  milk
  1                cup  biscuit mix
 

Preparation:

1. Cook first 4 ingredients in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain. 2. Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasonings, and 2 tablespoons biscuit mix. Pour into a greased 9-inch round cakepan. Top with cheese. 3. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; pour over cheese. 4. Bake at 350 F. for 45 minutes until golden brown. Servings 4-6
