Preparation:
Combine sugar, corn syrup and cream in 1-quart pan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Simmer 2 minutes or until syrup thickens slightly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
The Inn uses this creamy syrup over several of its scrumptious breakfast entrees. It is delicious over French toast, pancakes, or waffles.
Utilizing whatever fresh fruits are in season, cut up and stir into syrup after you remove it from heat. |
