Preparation:
Preheat oven to 42 Line 12 muffin cups with paper or foil liners. Stir flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and soda in large bowl. Whisk buttermilk, butter and egg in medium bowl. Add to dry ingredients and stir just until blended. Stir in cheese. Divide batter among prepared muffin cups. Bake until muffins are golden brown and tester inserted into center comes out clean, about 20 minutes. Cool in pan on rack 10 minutes. Serve warm or room temperature.
