Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375.
Butter a 9-muffin pan. Combine bran, flour, sugar, soda, salt, cranberries, almonds and zest in mixing bowl. Stir to blend. Combine in another bowl milk, oil, molasses and egg. Stir milk mixture into dry mixture just until combined - do not overmix. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full. Bake 15-20 minutes until risen and lightly browned.
