Preparation:
Mix ingredients together and put into a greased baking dish. Bake 350 deg F for 35 - 40 minutes.
Cut the cooked asparagus into 2" lengths and place in a bowl.
Cut a red bell pepper into matchstick strips and blanch in boiling water. Place them in the bowl with the asparagus.
Mix together soy sauce (I like reduced-salt) and dark sesame oil in the rough proportions of 1 tablespoon soy sauce to 1/4 teaspoon dark sesame oil (use more oil if you're a big fan of sesame). Make enough to lightly coat the vegetables, but without large puddles left in the bottom of the bowl. Toss to coat, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds for decoration, and serv |
