Preparation:
Mix the margarine, soft brown sugar, treacle, and black treacle together in a pan on a high heat for about 2 minutes until melted. Beat the eggs and add to the mixture.
Add the flour, oatmeal, salt, mixed spice, and ginger. Mix well.
Add the milk and beat well
Line the base of a souffle dish with greaseproof paper, add the mixture, and cook on full power for 8 minutes in the micro-wave. It should feel firm and spongy on top when cooked.
Leave to cool and ease round edges before removing from the dish. |
