Preparation:
Cut the crusts off of 1 and 1/2 loaves of Italian bread. Cut the loaves into
large cubes and scatter in bowl over sugar mixture.
3 c liquid - it can be all evaporated milk (which Edna uses) or half milk and
half water or whole milk. Beat this liquid with 3 eggs, a dash of salt and a t
of vanilla. Pour over bread mix. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Do not stir. Bake 1
hour at 350. |
