Preparation:
Grease a shallow 3pt ovenproof dish and preheat oven to 180°C (350F).
Melt chocolate with 1oz butter in a bowl over a pan of simmering water.
Cut stollen into thin slices. Put a third of the slices in greased dish.
Spoon some melted chocolate over the top. Layer another third of stollen
over it, then add the rest of the sauce. add the last of the stollen.
Melt remaining butter and beat with eggs, sugar and milk. Pour over the
stollen and leave to stand for about 30 mins.
Bake for about 50 mins, until the crust is golden.
Serve the pudding dusted with either cocoa powder or icing sugar. |
