Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

10 ounces frozen red raspberries -- thawed
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
cream soda -- chilled
2 pints vanilla ice cream
Preparation:
1. Strain raspberries through a fine sieve, pressing as much liquid through as possible.
2. Add lemon juice; chill thoroughly.
3. Pour into chilled tall glasses; fill halfway with soda, stirring well.
4. Top with scoops of ice cream.
