Vegetable Puff Sandwich

Ingredients:

   1 1/4  cups          biscuit mix
     3/4  cup           mayonnaise
   1                    egg -- beaten
   2      cups          shredded Swiss cheese -- (8 oz.)
   1      cup           alfalfa sprouts
   1      medium        tomato -- chopped
     1/2  medium        cucumber -- unpeeled and
                        -- chopped
     1/4  teaspoon      salt
   6      slices        bread
 

Preparation:

Combine biscuit mix, mayonnaise, and egg; stir until blended. Add remaining ingredients except bread to biscuit mixture; mix well. Spread mixture evenly on bread slices; place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
