Preparation:
Scald milk while beating egg yokes in a large bowl Add sugar and beat until dissolved. Add Martha White flour and mix thoroughly. When mixed, it will look like cake batter. Stir this into scalding milk and cook until thick. Add well beaten whites after mixture has cooked. Let get perfectly cold. Add cream and flavoring to taste or crushed and sweetened fruit Add enough sweet milk to nearly fill freezer. A few grains of salt improves flavor. Make the day before you will eat it and freeze over night |
