Preparation:
Make a simple syrup of sugar and water, boiled together for 5 minutes.
Combine
syrup with cherries, lemon peel and Chambord. Bring this combination to the
lowest simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes until cherries have plumped and syrup
is
reduced. Remove from heat and cool cherries in syrup. Discard lemon peel.
Prepare custard. |
