Garden Vegetable Burgers

Ingredients:

   1      pound         ground round
     1/2  cup           chopped cilantro
     1/4  cup           chopped red onion
     1/4  cup           tiny capers -- drained
     1/4  cup           dijon mustard
   2                    ripe plum tomatoes -- seeded and diced
     1/4  cup           chopped green bell pepper
   2      tablespoons   dry breadcrumbs
   1                    egg white
   1      teaspoon      caraway seeds
   1      teaspoon      pepper
 

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix them together with your hands or with a fork. Divide the mixture into four equal portions, and shape them into 1/2-inch-thick patties. Place the patties on your prepared grill rack and cook for about 5 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired degree of doneness. Preparation time: 10 minutes Grilling time: 10 minutes
