2 1/4 cups German Lowcarb Ketchup
2 1/4 cups water
2 teaspoons instant beef broth or cubes
1 1/4 teaspoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon chile powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
2 dashes liquid hot pepper
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
Preparation:
Bring all ingredients to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes. If not using immediately, cool and refrigerate. Will keep several weeks. May be frozen in an ice-cube tray and stored as cubes.
