Barbecue Sauce - Southern Food Eastern Version

Ingredients:


2 cups cider vinegar

1 tablespoon peppercorns

1 teaspoon celery seeds

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon hot pepper flakes

1 medium onion -- chopped fine

1 cup water
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine in large saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer uncovered for one hour. Strain, if desired.
