Cherry Coconut Bars

Ingredients:


--- CRUST ---

1 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups butter or margarine

6 tablespoons confectioners sugar

--- FILLING ---

3 large eggs

1 1/2 cups sugar

6 tablespoons flour

3/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1 cup nuts -- chopped fine

3/4 cup shredded coconut

3/4 cup maraschino cherries -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


CRUST; Mix crust ingredients together until crumbly. Pat firmly into 9 X 13 X 2 pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350. FILLING; Meanwhile in a mixing bowl, beat eggs lightly. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over baked crust and bake 25 minutes at 350. Cool before cutting.
