Layered Chocolate- Butterscotch Bars

Ingredients:


2 1/2 Cups crushed vanilla wafers -- (about 65)

1/4 Cup butter -- melted

2 Teaspoons vanilla

1 cup flaked coconut

1 Package semi-sweet chocolate chips -- (6 ounce)

1 cup butterscotch-flavored chips

1 Can sweetened condensed milk -- (14 ounce)

1/2 Cup salted peanuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oven to 350 degrees. In medium bowl, stir together vanilla wafers, melted butter and vanilla. Press onto bottom of greased and floured 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with coconut, chocolate and butterscotch chips. Pour condensed milk over top, then sprinkle with peanuts. Bake in preheated oven for 20-27 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely, then cut into bars. Cover and store in refrigerator.
