Beef Short Ribs Pacific Style

Ingredients:


3 pounds beef ribs* -- (3 to 4) (cut into 3-inch lengths

1 medium Onion -- chopped

1 tablespoon butter

2/3 cup catsup

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

2 tablespoons brown sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place short ribs on a broiler pan. Broil until well-browned to remove excess fat. Transfer to crockery pot . Saute onion in butteruntil limp and golden. Pour in catsup; soy sauce, vinegar and brown sugar. Heat until blended. Pour over ribs. Cover. Cook on LOW 8 hours.
