Ragu Chili

Ingredients:


2 pounds ground beef

1 large onion -- chopped

2 cloves garlic -- finely chopped

1 jar Ragu Hearty Robust Blend Pasta Sauce -- (28 ounces)

1 can red kidney beans (15 ounces) -- rinsed and drained

2 tablespoons chili powder
 

Preparation / Directions:


In 12-inch skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic over medium-high heat; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. (For spicier Ragu Chili, stir in 1/2 teaspoon each ground cumin and dried oregano.) Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. Serve, if desired, with shredded cheddar cheese.
