Spicy Beef and Rice

Ingredients:


2 pounds lean ground beef

2 medium onions -- chopped

1 clove garlic -- minced

2 medium cooking apples -- peeled, cored, and chopped

3 small jalapeno peppers -- seeded and sliced into thin strips

1/2 Cup raisins

1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon pepper

4 Cup hot cooked rice (no salt added)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in a Dutch oven. Add next 6 ingredients; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes. Serve over hot cooked rice.
