Mulled Cider

Ingredients:


2 ounces dark rum

4 ounces apple cider

2 large cinnamon stick

1 piece whole cloves

1 dash nutmeg, freshly grated

1 dash ground ginger
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place ingredients (reserving one cinnamon stick) in a saucepan and warm gently over low heat. Stir occasionally, taking care not to let the cider come to a boil. When heated through, pour into a heated Irish coffee glass or mug. Garnish with a stick of cinnamon, if desired.
