Strawberry Wine Mist

Ingredients:


1 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

1 medium grated peel and juice of 1 lemon

1 pint strawberries -- sliced

1 bottle fruity wine*

1 bottle chilled soda water
 

Preparation / Directions:


* 4/5 quart Makes 1 1/2 quarts sherbet 1. Bring sugar and water to a boil in saucepan, stirring until sugar dissolves. 2. Boil 3 minutes; cool. 3. Add lemon peel, lemon juice, sliced berries and wine; freeze. For each drink, drop a scoop of frozen sherbet into tall glass, add a splash of soda, and serve at once, with long spoon and straw.
