Buttermilk Bread

Ingredients:


1 1/8 cups buttermilk or

4 tablespoons dry buttermilk powder and

1 1/8 cups water (for welbilt/dak machines add 2 T more buttermilk)

3 cups bread flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

3 tablespoons honey

1/4 teaspoon baking soda*

1 1/2 teaspoons red star active dry yeast
 

Preparation / Directions:


* Prodigy "research" has shown that if using powdered buttermilk we should omit the baking soda. Place all ingredients in bread pan, select Light Crust setting, and press Start.
